This is an ideal opportunity for you to be observed refereeing and potentially recommended for upgrading. I shall be present with possibly other senior referees to observe you and give you feedback.

Ashcombe are hosting a Tier 2 Under 18 boys National Championships on:
Saturday 26th November 2022 2.30 – 7.30.p.m.
I have asked Ludo Kowalski, SEVA Referee rep, to offer an upgrading opportunity to SE referees, from Grade 4 to Grade 3 Regional. We hope there may be 2 referee assessors attending on the day.
Ashcombe will provide free refreshments for all the referees that can attend.

SEVA will be holding trials for junior players in 2022 and 2023 in preparation for the IR Championships in 2023.
Apologies for the late notification, especially for the early September dates, but we had to wait for all NVL, National squads and junior competition dates to be confirmed, before choosing dates and venues.

We will be using the spond app for all communications and you will need to follow these steps
All subscription payments need to be paid directly into the SEVA bank account: Subscriptions are £10 per player per session for the open training sessions.
Pay for each session separately and reference the payment with the players name and age group.
Training for all groups will start as open sessions and the coaches will tell players if they are going to be invited to later sessions at the end of the training session or via spond. Contacts will be removed from the spond group if they are not continuing with training.
Please pass this message onto any junior players or clubs that may be interested in trying out for the SEVA teams.

The Assistant Coach Award is the first formal step on Volleyball England’s Coach Education Pathway. This generic award includes the disciplines of indoor, beach and sitting volleyball. The course introduces the learner to the Volleyball Fundamentals that underpin the development of dig, volley, block, serve, and spike, and the Volleyball England game-based approach to coaching. The course will qualify the successful learners to assist more qualified coaches.

Held indoors, on 4 courts, at The Ashcombe Volleyball Centre, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1LY on 30th April and 1st May 2022. Pool play then 3 or 4 new divisions, dependent on results, all teams are guaranteed at least 6 matches.

🎉 Volleyball England is delighted to announce that the Government has given the green light for competitive indoor volleyball, beach volleyball and outdoor 6v6 volleyball to return 🎉
Crucially, competitions should only resume once the necessary risk assessments and safety plans are in place and when organisers are confident that Government, venue and Volleyball England advice can be followed.
